Ensamble of characters

Michelle graduated from Middlesex University with a BA Hons in Drama and Theatre studies before attending Drama Studio London. From there she began an acting career which included working with The Natural Theatre Company, in Ken Campbell’s, “The Warp” and as John Constables Goose in “The Southwark Mysteries”, which performed in venues including Shakespeare’s Globe.

Inspired by John’s poetic form she shifted her attention to writing, becoming Moksha, a respected spoken word artist on the London and festival circuit. She writes issue based plays for teenagers which are performed by actors throughout the UK and has written a short film on self-harm which won an award for education. She is currently working on her first book, a science fiction novel entitled Folium.

She has assisted Daisy Campbell on many previous projects, including at The TAZ, a temporary autonomous zone in a disused cinema in Belsize Park and on The Questival, a three day festival exploring human potential. She was part of The Festival Of Flight, which put on large scale benefit gigs for Anti-slavery International and the Stop the War Coalition at London’s Scala and for many years produced her own successful “It’s a Thought Crime Cabaret” events at the 491 Gallery and other London venues.

Michelle is also a creative consultant for Bigfoot Arts Education and Brunel Universities Urban Scholars program and continues to work with young people suffering with mental health and behavioural issues.

In addition to playing Eris, Michelle is also co-producer of Cosmic Trigger Play and Conferestival.
